These Promotional Competition Terms & Conditions (which include the Promotional Competition Details) set out the basis for participating in the Promotional Competition identified below.

By entering or participating in the Promotional Competition you agree to these Promotional Competition Terms & Conditions.

All Personal Information supplied by participants as part of this Promotional Competition will be processed in accordance with Unilever South Africa's Privacy Policy which can be found at our website: unilever.co.za.

Entry Instructions

To enter the Competition, entrants are required to complete the following steps:

Step 1: Purchase Domestos Power Foam products from any participating retailer (including but not limited to Checkers, SPAR, Pick n Pay, Clicks, Dis-Chem, Massmart and Takealot), both in-store and online. Every 2 (two) Domestos Power Foam products purchased equals 1 (one) entry into the draw. A minimum of 2 (two) Domestos Power Foam products must appear on your proof of purchase for your entry to be considered valid.

 

Step 2: WhatsApp 087 265 3708 and follow the prompts to register and upload your proof of purchase (till slip) as proof of purchase.

 

Your till slip must:

  • Clearly show the purchase of a minimum of 2 (two) Domestos Power Foam products;
  • Be an original, unedited photograph of the physical till slip; (for in-store purchases) or, for online purchases, an unedited order confirmation generated by the participating retailer’s platform (Pick n Pay asap!, Checkers Sixty60 or Takealot.com) clearly showing the qualifying products, the order date and the order number
  • Show the date of purchase and the name of the retailer, which must fall within the competition period;
  • Not be a screenshot, a photograph of a screen, or an AI-generated or digitally altered image., provided that order confirmations generated directly within a participating online retailer’s app or website (Pick n Pay asap!, Checkers Sixty60 or Takealot.com) are acceptable for online purchases

Entries that do not meet these requirements will be disqualified.

Participants must retain their original till slip and/or receipt as proof of purchase. Participants may, at any time before a prize is awarded, be required to produce the original till slip or to demonstrate the qualifying purchase in their account on the relevant online retail platform (Pick n Pay asap!, Checkers Sixty60 or Takealot.com). Failure to do so on request will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prize.

The number of entries a participant receives is determined by the total number of Domestos Power Foam products purchased, not by the number of till slips submitted. Every 2 (two) Domestos Power Foam products purchased equals 1 (one) entry into the draw. For example, a till slip showing the purchase of 6 (six) Domestos Power Foam products will count as 3 (three) entries. A minimum of 2 (two) Domestos Power Foam products per till slip is required for an entry to be valid. Participants may submit multiple till slips, provided each is a valid and original proof of purchase falling within the Competition period. No participant may enter using multiple names, phone numbers, identities or any other method to obtain more entries than is permitted under these Terms & Conditions.

Any entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered.

It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that their entry is received within the competition dates. Entries not received before the Closing Date will not be eligible, regardless of the reason for late entry.

The Promoter and its affiliates are not responsible for entries not received, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network, computer system, server or provider which may have hindered entry.

Participating Retailers

The Competition is open at all major retailers nationwide that stock Domestos Power Foam products, including but not limited to:

  • Checkers
  • SPAR
  • Pick n Pay
  • Clicks
  • DisChem
  • Massmart
  • Takealot
  • Amazon

Both in-store and online purchases are eligible, provided a valid till slip or proof of purchase is obtained and submitted.

Eligibility

This Competition is open to South African citizens or permanent residents who are:

  • 18 years of age or older at the time of entry; and
  • In possession of a valid South African identity document.
  • Have a valid driving license. 

The following persons are NOT eligible to enter or win:

  • Directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants or contractors of Unilever South Africa (Pty) Ltd or any of its controlling or controlled companies or subsidiaries;
  • Marketing services providers, promotional agencies or any other party involved in the development or execution of this Competition;
  • Any spouse, life partner, business partner, or immediate family member (parent, sibling or child) of any of the above.

1 (one) winner will receive:

1 x Suzuki Jimny plus 5 (five) weekly cash prizes of R1 000 each per weekly draw (see Weekly Cash Prize Draws)

The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable and may not be converted to cash. No interest will be payable on the prize or any component thereof. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.

The prize winner is responsible for all costs not expressly included in the prize description, including but not limited to licensing, registration, insurance, fuel and any other costs associated with vehicle ownership.

Prize Claim and Collection

The prize winner will be contacted by the Promoter’s appointed agent following verification of their details.

The winner will be required to arrange collection of the Suzuki Jimny within 1 (one) calendar month of being contacted and verified by the Promoter.

Collection arrangements will be made by the Promoter’s agent with the nearest Suzuki dealership to the winner. The winner will be required to travel to the agreed Suzuki dealership on the agreed collection date at their own expense.

To claim the prize, the winner must provide the following:

  • A valid South African identity document or passport;
  • Valid driving license;
  • Proof of address;
  • Any other details reasonably required by the Promoter or the dealership to facilitate the handover.

If the winner fails to make collection arrangements within 1 (one) calendar month of being notified and verified, the prize will be deemed forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected at the Promoter’s discretion.

Weekly Cash Prize Draws

In addition to the grand prize, 5 (five) cash prizes of R1 000 (one thousand rand) each will be awarded in each weekly draw held during the weekly draw period, which commences on a date announced by the Promoter and continues until the Closing Date.

Weekly winners will be selected by means of a random computerised draw from all valid entries received by the relevant weekly draw date, conducted under the supervision of an independent person appointed by the Promoter.

Every valid entry is automatically included in each weekly draw held after that entry is received, including valid entries submitted before the introduction of the weekly draws. No further action is required from participants.

Only valid entrants – being participants whose entries comply in full with these Terms & Conditions and are supported by a genuine, verifiable purchase – are eligible to win a weekly cash prize or the Suzuki Jimny grand prize. Invalid, incomplete, fraudulent or unverified entries are not eligible for any prize.

A participant may win a maximum of 1 (one) weekly cash prize in any single weekly draw. Winning a weekly cash prize does not affect a participant’s eligibility for the grand prize draw.

Weekly winners will be contacted on the WhatsApp number used to enter the Competition. If a weekly winner cannot be reached or does not respond within 48 (forty-eight) hours of first contact, the relevant prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be drawn.

Weekly cash prizes will be paid by electronic funds transfer following verification of the winner’s identity and banking details. Weekly cash prizes are not transferable and no interest is payable thereon.

Referral Programme

Following a valid entry, participants will receive a unique referral link via WhatsApp which may be shared with friends and family.

A participant will receive 1 (one) additional entry into the grand prize draw for each valid referral. A referral is only valid where the referred person: (a) enters the Competition using the participant’s unique referral link; (b) completes registration; and (c) submits a valid entry supported by a genuine, qualifying purchase of at least 2 (two) Domestos Power Foam products in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Referrals that do not result in a valid entry, including referrals that are not supported by a genuine purchase, will not earn any additional entries.

Additional entries earned through referrals apply to the grand prize draw only and do not constitute additional chances in the weekly cash prize draws.

There is no limit on the number of valid referrals a participant may make. However, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant, and to forfeit any prize or entries, where referrals are in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion fraudulent, artificial, self-referrals, made using fictitious identities or multiple phone numbers, or otherwise in breach of these Terms & Conditions.

A referred person must be a new participant. Each person may register once only, using one name and one phone number.

Winner Selection

The winner will be selected by means of a random computerised draw from all valid entries received during the Competition period.

The draw will take place on 1 September 2026.

The draw will be conducted under the supervision of an independent person appointed by the Promoter.

Winner Notification and Verification

The Promoter (or their appointed agent) will endeavour to contact the prize winner telephonically three (3) times on the day of the draw after their entry is selected.

A email/ WhatsApp notification will also be sent to the winner as an additional contact attempt, with a further 48 (forty-eight) hours given for the winner to respond.

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within the stipulated period, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Winners will be required to verify their identity and provide all information reasonably requested by the Promoter in order to receive the prize.

The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winners will be announced 1 week after the 1 September 2026, on the brand’s social media platforms (Meta and TikTok).

By entering the Competition, participants consent to their name and/or image being used in any announcement or promotional material related to this Competition.

General Conditions

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits entries that are fraudulent, illegible, incomplete, or do not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any winner if there is reason to believe that the entry was obtained through fraudulent or improper means.
  • Participants may not enter on behalf of another person or enter using fictitious details.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost due to technical faults or any other reason beyond its reasonable control.
  • The Promoter and its associated companies, agencies, and representatives will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant as a result of participation in this Competition or acceptance of any prize.
  • These Terms & Conditions may be amended by the Promoter at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be available at www.unilever.co.za.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Competition at any time, with or without notice, if circumstances outside its control necessitate such action.

Privacy

All Personal Information collected in connection with this Competition will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and Unilever South Africa’s Privacy Policy, available at www.unilever.co.za.

Personal Information will only be used for the purposes of administering this Competition and will not be sold or disclosed to third parties, except as required by law or necessary to administer the prize.

Participants may request access to their Personal Information or request its deletion by contacting consumer.affairs-za@unilever.com.

Governing Law and Disputes

This Promotional Competition (including these Terms & Conditions and any related dispute) is governed by and will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

By entering this Promotional Competition, entrants acknowledge that this Competition will be managed in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”). Qualifying entrants undertake to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable the Promoter to comply with their obligations under the CPA. Any disputes or complaints must be submitted in writing to: consumer.affairs-za@unilever.com.

Agency Disclaimer

This Competition is promoted by Unilever South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”). Berelo (Pty) Ltd (“Berelo”) acts solely in the capacity of promotional agency and competition administrator on behalf of the Promoter.

Berelo shall not be liable, whether in contract, delict, or otherwise, for any loss, damage, claim, expense, cost, injury or harm of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss or damage) arising out of or in connection with:

  • the administration, management, or execution of this Competition;
  • any act or omission of any third party, supplier, retailer, dealer or service provider involved in the Competition or the fulfilment of any prize;
  • any technical failures, system errors, data loss, or interruptions affecting entry submission or winner notification;
  • the prize itself, its quality, fitness for purpose, or any incident arising from its use or collection; or
  • any matter beyond Berelo’s reasonable control.

By entering this Competition, all participants acknowledge and agree that Berelo acts solely as agent for the Promoter and that any and all claims, disputes or complaints must be directed to the Promoter at consumer.affairs-za@unilever.com, and not to Berelo.
